in two minds
Try looking up DIR/Floortime. Its a much more effective approach to mainstreaming ASD diagnosed children. Its play based, not reward based……
well i am learning to be a peermentor in my school so i will be doing that. The reason i am soing it is because i am a kid,and they can relate to me,so learning the same exact thing from me will be easier for them to understand since they can relate to me.
I wish I had someone like this in my area!!!
Applied Behavioral Analysis.
yeah we definitely need more people like this lady
what does ABA stand for
This seems like Skinnerism psychology, basic cause and effect, and it seems to work!
Great clip!
ABA has worked wonders for my Autistic son. And for the person who said she needs to calm down, my child (not saying every ASD child) loves Larger Than Life people. Big gestures and up beat voices really help to hold his attention and sit for longer periods to work. I’ve also noticed that with my son “Work is play and play is work”
All that junk in vaccines. mercury, formaldehyde…
detox. with MMS? If your child brushes with MMS I will bet you he/she will have no more cavities!, no more toxic mercury added to their mouths.
Earth stones. Hold an orange carnelian in your hand for an hour - quick fix for dissolving fear/anger/depr. Don’t believe me? check “chemtrails dissolved”. Orgone pipes use crystals/ earth stones get rid of chemtrails 5 minutes, 40 mile radius. “Chemtrail Busters” video link at soisnessdotorg.
This is the second best way. My mother invented the best way.
PLEASE check out a great Children’s book about Autism, PDD and ADHD called ‘Why Is He Different?’ (Please spread the word about this unique book, tell your friends and tell me what you think about it. Big thanks!!). You can preview it on youtube profile called Monalisaknew. Just copy and paste the following sentence in youtube search window: ‘Why Is He Different? (Autism Book)’
You can also buy this book on AthsePublishing(dot)com. Thank You !!
To make this conclusion you would of had to observe where he came from in his progress to where he is. I don’t think you’r trying to be a butt. Perhaps there isn’t enough here for you to see that there was a process.
Look at some DIR floortime videos too — the social connection comes more from an internal motivation than from an external reward — my experience is that the child’s speech can be pretty robotic with aba… any sites where I can see natural sounding kids treated with aba? Please recommend.
ABA therapy is a great way, if not the best way to treat autism. This video is a good example of ABA. To see more ABA video’s there is a new site called rethink autism that offers over 400 ABA based-video’s! give it a try!
Some therapists can do several trials and remember and record later.
I love the rotation between intraverbals and FFC responses. But she didnt correct the first response (touch something you wear). Really nice model of what she was looking for but didnt give him the opportunity to get it independently. Just one more thing, where was the data collection. But overall a nice teaching session.
That girl is good at her job. Nice tone of voice, clear and articulate. People don’t see disability in this kid because she is keeping him engaged and keeping him attending to task. If she walked away for a half hour, autism would rear it’s head. That’s why ABA is a great therapy and lot’s of it. It keeps a kid who naturally wants to check out into his own world engaged and attending and learning.
You can tell he is thriving with this therapy. The autism isn’t as noticeable. As a parent of an autistic son I can see it. Notice how he repeats her stuff, if she let him he would just keep repeating. “show me eating, show me eating, show me eating.” they get stuck. That’s also why she may seem like she needs to calm down.
You can see the OCD parts of autism clearly: His eye contact and the way he touches the cards. The social limitations are hidden because the therapy is really good.
I don’t see anything wrong with the kid. I see a normal kid. Can anybody tell me what is abnormal here. I’m starting to think that autism was just a propaganda.
this lady needs to calm down a bit!
I find that ABA works everytime in every situation if a child has the chance to earn something he wants he/she will stop at nothing to get it.
I love watching people help people with autism. This video will definitely be in my autism playlist(number 27). I have AS and I want to help other autistic children. This video is definitely an inspiration.
Try Neurofeedback
ABA has done wonders for my 3 year old its a Job that does not get enough credit. These teachers open a new world to our children. This teacher on video is to be applauded for her work i only hope that my son can get to this level. Thank you for posting this video
